Scribe

Pro

Scribe — Terms of Use

What Scribe is

Scribe is a learning app: you write in English, and the app helps you find and understand your mistakes and practise rules and words.

AI checking

Mistakes, explanations, scores and exam-mode results are produced by artificial intelligence. It can be wrong. Exam scores are estimates and are not an official IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge result.

If you see an inaccuracy, tap “Inaccurate?” next to the mistake.

Free plan and Pro

The free plan includes 3 checks a week, rules, exercises, flashcards and notes. Pro removes the limits and unlocks re-checking a rewritten text, the weekly report, exam mode, words from a photo and a PDF for your teacher.

A Pro subscription starts with a free 7-day trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it renews automatically on the plan you chose. You can cancel at any time: Pro keeps working until the end of the paid period.

Payment is made through your Apple account. You can manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings no later than 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.

Your content

Everything you write in the app belongs to you. We do not publish your texts or share them with anyone except the checking service (see the Privacy Policy).

What is not allowed

Do not use the app to submit illegal content for checking, and do not try to get around the service’s limits or break it.

Liability

We work to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruptions.

Account

You need an account with your email to use the app. You can delete it together with all your data at any time: Settings → “Delete account”.
